How much does a website cost?

The honest answer is that it depends, so here is what it depends on, and what we charge at each level, with the price and delivery date agreed before you commit.

The short answer

  • Price follows scope: how many pages, how custom the design, whether you need to edit it yourself, take bookings or payments, and what it has to connect to.
  • Our fixed prices start at £3,900 for a Launch Site (up to five pages, live in 1–2 weeks) and £8,500 for a Business Site with custom design and integrations.
  • Web apps start at £18,000. Bigger products are priced after a £2,400 Build Blueprint, credited in full if you build with us within 60 days.
  • Plan for running costs as well: hosting, the domain name, and whoever keeps it patched and working.

What drives the price

  • Pages and page types: a five-page site and a site with twenty different layouts are different jobs.
  • Design: a clean, proven layout or a fully custom design.
  • Editing: whether you need a content management system to change pages yourself.
  • Features: forms, bookings, payments, accounts and sign-in each add work.
  • Integrations: connecting to the tools you already use, such as your CRM or accounting software.
  • After launch: someone has to keep it patched, backed up and working.

Where the Build Blueprint fits

For anything bigger than a business site, we start with a Build Blueprint (£2,400): a discovery workshop that turns what you want into a specification with a fixed price. The full fee is credited toward any build started within 60 days, so if you build with us, the Blueprint is free.

Running costs to plan for

  • Hosting and the domain name, which vary with the provider and how busy the site is.
  • Search visibility: our SEO Launch Pack is £250 a month for the technical side: keyword-to-page mapping, metadata, structured data, Search Console, and a plain-English monthly report.
  • Keeping a web app running: App Guardian starts at £249 a month per app, with monitoring, security patches and small bug fixes.

What isn't included

The SEO Launch Pack is technical SEO. It doesn't include writing content or building links, and nobody can honestly guarantee a ranking.
