Every document we trade on is listed, versioned, at tecnov8.com/legal. Questions about this policy go to hello@tecnov8.com; signed contracts and counterpart copies go to accounts@tecnov8.com.

1. Who you are buying from

These terms govern services bought through www.tecnov8.com from Tecnovate Limited, trading as tecnov8 (“we”, “us”), registered in England and Wales, company number 17178355, registered office Parker House, 44 Stafford Road, Wallington SM6 9AA, United Kingdom. VAT registration number GB518994930. Contact: hello@tecnov8.com.

A signed statement of work or master services agreement, where one exists between us, prevails over these terms to the extent of any conflict.

2. Business customers

Our services are supplied for use in business, and by ordering you confirm you are acting in the course of business and not as a consumer. Statutory rights that apply only to consumers do not apply to these purchases.

3. The services

Assessments (Menu A): a scored review of your application delivered as a written report, at the tier described on the order page.

Fixes (Menu B): fixed-price Fix Packs and Hardening Sprints, scoped by the measures you give us at checkout (roles, APIs, databases, connectors, environments).

Blueprints (Menu C): the Blueprint Pack (digital materials delivered on purchase), the Signed Blueprint, and the Foundation Build.

Licences and plans: Portal Licences and support plans, billed as recurring subscriptions.

In each case the deliverables are those listed on the relevant order page at the time you buy.

4. Ordering, prices, and payment

Payment is taken by our payment provider, Stripe, at checkout. Your order is accepted, and the contract formed, when Stripe confirms successful payment.

Prices are shown exclusive of VAT and other sales taxes, which are added at checkout at the prevailing rate for your billing location.

Where a price is metered (for example, per extra role or per extra API), the price is calculated from the counts you provide. If, on starting work, your application materially exceeds the counts you gave us, we will tell you and agree the difference before continuing, or refund you in full if we cannot agree.

Prices marked “from” are starting prices; the exact figure is confirmed on the order page or before work begins.

5. Your obligations

Assessments and fixes need access: you agree to provide the repository, environment, and account access we reasonably request, and you confirm you are entitled to grant it for the application in question.

You will respond to reasonable requests for information promptly. Timelines shown on the site are estimates from the date we have the access and information we need.

6. Delivery

Reports and blueprints are delivered by email or through the client portal. Digital materials in the Blueprint Pack are made available immediately after purchase.

Sprints and builds are scheduled with you after checkout; hypercare and walkthrough sessions are booked at mutually agreed times.

7. Upgrade credits

Where an order page states that a fee credits toward a higher tier (for example, Essential Review toward a Deep-Dive, or Blueprint Pack toward a Signed Blueprint), the credit is valid for 60 days from purchase unless the order page says otherwise, is not transferable, and has no cash value.

8. Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds

Subscriptions (Portal Licences, support plans) renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no further payments are taken. Any minimum term will be stated on the order page.

One-off services: you may cancel before work is scheduled to begin for a full refund. Once work has begun, we will refund the portion of the fee for work not yet performed. Digital materials delivered immediately (the Blueprint Pack) are non-refundable once accessed.

If we cancel an order, for example because we cannot deliver, or your application is outside the scope of the fixed-price menu, we refund you in full.

9. Intellectual property and confidentiality

On payment in full, the deliverables produced for you, reports, remediation specifications, your tailored blueprint, are yours. You may share them freely, including with other engineering firms.

Our pre-existing materials, methods, checklists, templates, tooling, and the master blueprint, remain ours; you receive a perpetual licence to use them as embedded in your deliverables (and, for the Blueprint Pack, for your own projects, not for resale).

Each of us will keep the other's confidential information confidential: yours includes your code, systems, and findings; ours includes our methods and pricing internals. Assessment findings are disclosed only to you, unless the law requires otherwise.

Personal data is handled as described in our privacy policy at www.tecnov8.com/privacy; a data processing agreement is available on request for engagements that need one.

10. What we do not promise

We perform every service with reasonable skill and care, and a named assessor or engineer stands behind each deliverable.

No security review can find every vulnerability, and no fix can make any system immune to attack. A score, report, or completed sprint is an assessment of the areas examined at the time of examination. It is not a warranty that your application is secure, will not be breached, or will pass any particular audit or certification.

Recommendations are made on the information available to us; decisions about your business, and compliance with the laws that apply to it, remain yours.

11. Liability

Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from these services. Our total liability arising from an order is limited to the fees paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. General

We may update these terms; the version in force when you place an order applies to that order.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Questions about an order? Email hello@tecnov8.com. We reply within one business day.
